We're so happy you're here
Red String Arts is passionate about capturing the moment. Shortly after Rose's Mama died, she found herself staring at photos of her and pondering how the photo hadn't changed even though she was gone. They realized that her Mama still lived in the light that existed in the photos, and would still exist in the back of her eye where the light reflected.
Even though she is gone, a part of her will always be alive. That is what Red String Arts is about.

Rose Long has been studying photography at a collegiate level since 2023. Their art has been displayed in galleries all along the west coast, and recently won the Floyd Bettiga’s “INIFINITE” Award for 2026. The name “Red String Arts” came from their first ever spell at just six years old, which required tying a Red String 7 times.
One of the things that sets Rose apart from other artists is being slightly colorblind. This doesn’t stop them from creating inspired art, but (hopefully) gives them an edge that might just set their photography apart. Rose also takes pride in only using human input for every part of their creative process. From this website, shooting, editing, and delivery, everything is done only with human hands.
